Civil Engineer (G+2-5)

We are looking for a talented, ambitious, and friendly Civil Engineer with 2-5 years’ experience to join our rapidly growing practice in our central London location. This role provides an exciting opportunity to be a key member of our expanding Civil Engineering team.

We would like to hear from a self-motivated engineer, who embraces responsibility, and possesses strong technical design skills. The ideal candidate will work across a diverse range of projects, from small residential refurbishments to large complex mixed-use development projects, up to £150m in value.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have an ICE-accredited degree in civil engineering
  • Be highly personable, enjoy working in a team environment, and skilled in collaborating with client’s and other disciplines
  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience working on complex civil and drainage projects of all scales
  • Be working towards chartership with ICE
  • Possess managerial skills with a desire to develop leadership potential
  • Be reliable, and highly organised to meet strict deadlines
  • Contribute to fee proposals, budgets and workload management
  • Have experience in some or all of the following:
    • Below ground drainage design including SuDS
    • Retrofitting existing networks and sitewide design
    • Drainage Statements and FRAs
    • Design of private roads to adoptable standards
    • Vehicle tracking
    • Liaison with local authorities to obtain agreements for drainage and highways
    • AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroDrainage
