Another SD completed project for 2020. This 12 unit residential, commercial and cultural development on Kentish Town Road maintains the character of a much loved Kentish Town building, whilst increasing the sites potential. Heavily constrained on all sides by existing Victorian buildings, busy public highways, and the northern line tube tunnels below, SD Structures developed methodologies and phasing to ensure successful construction while retaining the original façade. Storey deep Vierendeel transfer structures were used to keep floor to floor heights to a maximum over the lower ground floor cinema.
