Butlers Bakery has been baking bread for the Forest Gate community since 1891. In celebration a competition was launched in 2017 for an artistic installation to be installed on the side of the bakery. The winning design was for a tiled mosaic to be fixed to the wall.

The wall had experienced movement and repair over the years so SD Structures undertook a structural inspection and report to advise on the required works to make the wall sound prior to the installation of the art.
