The underpinning and excavation below a Grade 2 listed Town Hall in Croydon.
The project was further complicated due to the requirement to excavate the new flats below an existing suspended floor whilst the properties above were still inhabited. A modified stool method of underpinning and propping was developed to enable viability of the project.
Full 3D Construction sequencing was undertaken in Revit and Navisworks to show consideration of the construction sequence at tender and to funders.
