The development involved cutting deep into a Wiltshire hillside forming a retaining and foundation platform structure ready to receive a prefabricated house which was built and shipped in from China.

Following a site investigation, it was found that the ground was unsuitable for traditional forms of construction, and it was recommended that a piled solution be developed.  SD Structures undertook the full substructure design, coordinated with drainage engineers and detailed reinforcement elements in 3D.
