SD Structures have completed the structural design of a scissor helical staircase for a private client in North London.  The staircase is currently under construction and will form the main feature in a fully renovated SD Structures project.  The project required a detailed analysis of the dynamics of the staircase and detailed analysis of all elements including welds and second order effects resulting from the complex geometry and boundary conditions.
