This project comprises the detailed appraisal of an existing ‘Metsec’ building to determine if an additional storey of residential could be constructed at this sought after beachfront location.

SD Structures were employed to undertake the full cold form steel redesign from Roof to First floor, and to check the capacity of the existing hot rolled steel development platform at ground floor.  A full Revit model was constructed from as built drawings to improve coordination between proposed and existing structure.
