The renovation of a four-storey Victorian end of terrace property with vaulted roof extension and new purpose built concrete frame music recording studio.

With acoustic isolation a key factor to this project, the new two-storey extension is constructed using concrete to provide a robust shell. The structure has been designed with future flexibility in mind, built on piled foundations to allow a further storey to be added when additional studio space is required.

The existing Victorian building was completely reconfigured to meet the needs of the studio and includes a concrete basement, and cranked steel frames on the roof to create a column-free vaulted studio space.
