The design of a new four storey concrete and steel hybrid development in central Acton.

As part of the integrated design team, SD Structures developed the structural design from concept through to construction. Appraising options with respect to cost, programme, construction risk, and health and safety.

The new ten unit residential development made full use of the site, despite being constrained on three sides by existing Victorian buildings.  A new piled basement was designed immediately adjacent existing historic footings and retro target monitoring of existing structures was employed to safeguard existing buildings.
