The construction of a new 1,000 sq m two-storey office on an industrial estate in Essex. The roof supports the plant and photovoltaic panels.

The structure comprises an economical braced steel frame with concrete slabs on metal decking supported by concrete pad footings. The structural grid and alternative construction materials were considered in order to achieve a best value solution for the client.
