Removal of Load Bearing Walls & Licence to Alter
Freeholders Consent agreements
Freeholders and local authorities often require Licence to Alter agreements or Freeholders Consent agreements to allow the removal of walls in a property.
SD Structures can undertake inspections to determine what walls are loadbearing. If the wall/s is found not to be loadbearing then we will prepare report confirming this to enable the licence to alter agreement to be progressed.
If the wall is found to be loadbearing then we can provide structural solutions to enable the safe removal of the wall and provide drawings and details for the builder along with a supporting calculation package for building control sign off which would be required to enable the licence to alter agreement to be progressed.
